Our cat does not usually tolerate petting for long, but with this brush she turns this way and that to make sure she is groomed all over.At the end you press the trigger, to release a disk of hair and bin it.

A couple of my cats do not like to be brushed, but having read the reviews for this I decided I had nothing to lose. My long fur cat who was attacked by a fox when only young and cannot get to his fur at the back has always been very matted. No more! He loves this brush, it takes out the knots and he now has beautiful fur. ALL my other cats (I have seven!) love it too. It's really easy to get the fur off, just press the button and it pops to the surface ready to wipe away. Brilliant item.

The brush head is just the right size to groom from the top of the head down all the way to the tip of his tail. Trix opens up his belly to have his underside groomed - something he usually doesn't want to do because of his arthritis.The fur removing screen clears the head of the bristles so the fur isn't holding on to a single strand of fur when the button is pressed.I've tried other designs of self cleaning brushes, but they all hold on to fur and are not strictly self-cleaning. This one is very effiicient and I also use it to clean furnishings Trix has sat on, and it picks up a lot of the fur. I was amazed at how effective it was at cleaning his bedding too.

Great idea, removing the cats fur from the brush is very easy. The only reason I haven't given 5 stars is because the little pins bend very easily, so be careful how you store it.

Our adorable cat has a long fur. Normally she does not enjoy brushing, however this one is acceptable by our cat.Nice design, works well. Happy with the purchase.
